Some pictures of Ben, as he's approaching the 3 month mark. He's much more awake now- for several hour spells- and can be smiley and happy for much of it. He is a charming little guy. As you can see in one picture above, Ben's found his thumb and quite fond of it.

flight and space museum

We met Laurel's family at the Evergreen Flight and Space Museum today- home of the Spruce Goose and lots of cool airplanes and space stuff. It's been almost a year since our last trip. Owen had a wonderful time there, and Ben was a good traveler. Susie took real camera pictures I may post later. In the meantime, these are cell phone pics. Susie and Laurel fly to Virginia in the morning to see Dad and all the new house renovations he's been busy with.

guess who?

A new game for this blog: guess which baby is Ben, and which one is Owen in the above pictures. All are taken at 2.5 months.

The note is from pre-school- the teachers have begun writing down cute things the kids say and posting them for the other teachers to read. This just sounds so much like Owen- if he isn't asking "why?" he's making up an explanation. He's learning some sign language in school and teaches us the words at night. Maybe he can get Ben to sign when he's a little older.

Ben's busy trying to get his hands to stay in his mouth. He's enjoying hitting the toys on his play mat with his flailing arms, and he enjoys belly time for short spurts.
