must be may!

Its actually a snow day in December- we have almost a foot of snow today, boys have enjoyed getting to stay home, decorate the tree, make cookies, and play in the snow.    So it's time to look at pictures from our warm and sunny May!

Ben's pre-school class put on a super cute concert for Mother's Day.  He loved his pre-school class and his teacher Miss Jo.   He especially loves his friend Sterling, who is still in his Pre-K class, and the two of them are always up to some sort of mischief.  Usually they explain their "plots" to the teacher before they carry them out.

It was warm enough at Maggie's birthday that they put out the water games and the kids wore their suits and had a great time.

Owen "bridged" from Wolfs to Bears with the rest of Richard's Den.  The boys had a great year in Cub Scouts- Richard is always coming up with some fun project for the meetings.  This past week they assembled rockets, before that they did footprint casts and fingerprint identification... it's a task to keep 4 boys engaged but Richard rises to the challenge!

Ben started karate last spring and loves it!  He is a white belt and has now earned 4 yellow tips.  He loves his class, loves learning the moves and especially loves making faces in the mirror.  Owen will need to start karate soon...

We enjoyed our backyard this spring and summer. Richard put up his birthday present from last August- a family sized swinging bench.  We painted it Tour de France yellow, and he came up with a sturdy hanging method after a couple of attempts.  The boys and I enjoyed swinging on it all summer.
